Mark 11:23-24
"For verily i say unto you. That whosoever shall say unto this mountain. Be Thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have wahtsoever he saith.
Therefore i say unto you. What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
Words. They are so easily spoken. Have we given a thought to exactly what we say? When we say things, do we know exactly how we wanted it conveyed to the other party? Little do we know that the things we say hold more power then we could ever imagine.
The things i learned from Pastor Prince....
Prior to the verse above, Jesus was at Bethany, He was hungry and had wanted to eat of a fig tree. However the fig tree was barren, and Jesus said unto the tree, that no man eat of your fruit thereafter forever. It came to pass the next day as the tree withered and died. even though the tree did not show signs of dying.
God spoke, and light was. Everything that constitutes a miracle, that act was spoken of before it happened. Similarly, we are all kings and gods in this word, and our word holds power. In the above verses, "saith" was repeated three times, whereas believe was said once. God wants us to continue to say the things we want to believe in, and say it many many times, for the power of the faith of God will bring forth whatever we say and believe in.
Control your tongue, for with it holds the power that Jesus has given unto you. A man is not defiled by the food that he eats but by whatever comes out of his mouth. Imagine the importance that God has place upon a man's tongue, for with it His power is channelled into this physical world.
