Its freaking 12 ++ in the morning... What the hell am i doing online?? Should be watching Tv now.
Hey wait a minute, i AM watching TV. Braveheart's on now. Still feeling sleepy though. On with the story.
It was a huge room on the 6th floor. rows and rows on chairs lined the length of the room. All the contestants were made to sit on the chairs with 12 group of chairs at the front of the room. The organisers made them sit and thus began "musical chairs". Everytime a group of 5 were sent down to the producers room for the slaughter, the whole damn room had to move 5 chairs. It went on and on and on... All of them were tired, hungry, fatigued and sleepy due to the lack of sleep and food. Why didn't the organizers highlight the fact that food had to be brought in on the contestants' own terms?
Unfortunately, it was included in the tiny fonts of the terms and conditions which no sane person would ever read. How often would somebody read the terms and conditions when the fonts looked like they were meant for dwarfs and fairies to read. Finally after 3 hours, of moving, of taking short short naps, Roland and gang were moved to the hot seat where they awaited their turn to go in to the slaughter room.
Within a few minutes, they were brought into meeting room 2, where they waited outside for their turn to face the producers. Roland was designated as the second person to face the "music". Inside, were 2 producers, 1 cameraman, 1 soundman, and another lady at the desktop. He sang, a full 1st verse, chorus, and cause he was mentally prepared to sing only 20 seconds, paused many times during the second verse. He momentarily forgot the lyrics for the second verse as well. So unfortunate that someone told him that the auditions would only allow the contestant to sing 20 seconds, thus the 20 second concentration and the lack of thereafter. He knew they were considering him, but then, with lack of confidence and mental preparation, who could blame him if he faltered? He was after all, only prepared to sing 20 seconds...
After the group had finished their auditions, they were led to the results room where they were told to sit and wait for the results. Thankfully, the results came quite quickly. The organizer made those who had their registration numbers read out stand. It was the moment of reckoning. ROland, was made to stand as well. He had this sinking sensation that it wasn't good, and true to his intuition, he didn't make it.
What a load of bull. Made to suffer so much, to wait 11 hours, and all he got was to sing 40 seconds. Idiotic shit.
