Hey y'all. Wellz, with all the bad news you been hearing recently, i've got one good one.
Recovered my Oakleys today. Yup.. the very expensive sun-glasses. Know where i found it? On top of the driver's head. Let me explain.
My job actually requires me to travel to Toa Payoh where our recovery centre is. I gotta go there and do restoration, to place the previous data back into the system there. So what i need to do is to go tampines, collect the shit, take the courier and the rest is history. On one fateful day, whilst travelling back, i believe my glasses fell out of my orange bag's side netting. So when i reached office, i searched high and low but couldn't find it. Even tried desperately at home.
Had given up on hope after that. Since today was the first time in a long time that i went back to first shift, i saw that the courier was wearing something very familiar on his head. MY OAKLEYS!
Fortunately he returned it to me. I know he was kinda pissed cause he complained that it was so long ago, but what the hell can i do about it? My shift only allowed me to go back to morning till now and all that time i've never seen the courier!
Shit, if i had been assigned the morning shift earlier of course i could recover my glasses then! But was i? NOOOOOOOOO. i had to wait until today, no in fact, if Elvis hadn't changed shift with me, i wouldn't have met Zul and wouldn't have gotten back my glasses... THANK ELVIS!
