Wow, its been one week since i last started work. My first full 5 days of working at the night company. Wellz, first few days were a bore. Like what i divulged earlier in the previous blog felt like sleeping lots of times, especially in the morning.
Hell was unleashed slowly. On Wednesday i had to stay till 6 p.m cause i wasn't aware of the time and tried troubleshooting one of the user's PC cause the Explorer window could not display. It was supposed to be a touch and go thing, just install the floopy and leave. Unfortunately it was not to be. Until the next day i realised that somebody had disabled the floppy. Funny thing is when i tried turning on the explorer without the floppy attached, a floppy icon was available. What the hell??
Finally enabled the floppy device and installed it and there it goes. What a waste of time. Today was even worse. One of my colleagues wanted me to format a user's PC and reinstall the software. I was supposed to copy the relevant files remotely over the intranet so that i could have the files needed to set her email identification. However he told me to bring up the system to configure at my cubicle. Horror upon horrors, more helpdesk logs came in. Climbed up to the 13th floor to set up the Zip drive and allow the users to concurrently access the device. Then got called to go the the 11th floor to settle the CD-Burner of one of the users. Waited 20 minutes just to get the Burner to work. Damn another waste of time.
Next after getting back to my cubicle, one of my colleagues had to settle a Lotus Notes problem at another floor and got me to follow him. Whilst he was troubleshooting, i was struggling to keep my eyes awake.. and almost collapsed a few times. So tried jumping up and down to keep myself awake.
Going back to my cubicle, was close to time for me to leave the place. Shit and i only installed a few softwares inside. Many more to go. My colleague asked to leave the place saying that it doesn't matter if the user doesn't get the PC back. I then left with him. Until i was in the train did we realise that the user may want be working on Saturday and might need to system up and running! Shit ... and my colleague could say it doesn't matter to him cause in the end the user would come to look for me instead of him. Damn. He was the one who suggested bringing up the system and now i gotta eat the shit and not him.
Bloody hell. Thankfully one of my colleagues could cover for me if the user should need the system if she works on Saturday. Man, i hate doing things halfway. Hopefully the boss will not take this matter into account when he decides whether or not to continue to employ me after the 3 months probation.
Listening to Avril Lavigne's "Things i'll never say" here at baby's place. trying to accompany her whilst she studies for her project. Me feeling sticky and tired too, but i gotta be here if she's to stay awake to study. She needs somebody to push her to stay awake. She doesn't have much time to finish her project so i gotta try to help her in anyway i can..

Down at the DOcks
Today was my first day at work. Work at my new company. Damnez i've got a table to myself, finally. But then the former occupant wasn't too much of a tidy person, so i had to spend some time packing the cables and vacumming the table and floor.
Induction program wasn't too interesting though, company history and all blah blah blah. After that got introduced to my "buddy". Guy was supposed to guide me around the place, introduce my job scope, help me assimilate into the environment. Oh well. Spent the whole day cleaning up and formatting my PC too. Interestingly had 2 calls to my line.
Almost slept though. After installing Lotus Notes, checked email, and stared blankly into the screen. Yuck, my monitor looked like Wolverine went through it. So much scratches. I was begging for the time to reach 1730 and so it did. Opps. Halfway through the journey, had a call from Mum to go home eat cause Aunts going down too, and here i was thinking that i could meet up with girlfriend first. Damnez.
Dinner was too little too. Feeling like shit. Weak. Lethargic. Hopefully tomorrow's gonna be a better day.

Weird World of ...
Haven't been online or blogging for a very very long time. Been one hell of a hectic two weeks. What happened? TOmmy happened.
Months of "demonic oppression" finally caught up with him. This is the first time in my entire life that one of my friends ended up in Mount Elizabeth's "Cuckoo" ward. Went to the ward after i got a call from Justin that he got in. Lo and behold what did i find? A strange character, haggard, unkempt, praying and mumbling. We were like, is he alright? He couldn't recognise us, but kept praying and praying. stood at the window, continuous praying like there was no tomorrow.
Tried to strain my ears to hear what he was praying. Weird. It was like he was asking questions and replying them himself. We waited and waited, yet there wasn't reaction to imply that he knew we were there in the same room as him. Poor guy. Guess the rejection from a certain female got too much for him to handle. Its true to what they say, the female of the species is deadlier.
It wasn't until close to 7, 8 p.m that he began to come out of his trance-like state. He could recognise that we were there, but occasionally lapsing in and out of the trance. Went down a few days to visit him. Even tried to see if he was truly demon possessed. Its so hard to discern his spirit. The god he said was the holy spirit lied to him on so many occasions, prophecies that didn't come true, even acknowledging that it lied to him a few times. Yet he continued to pray to it and call it god.
Its already Friday and still his in hospital. Might be visiting him tomorrow. Hopefully he'd get better. Pride, was his downfall. The very first sin that lucifer exhibited.
Pray for mercy on Tommy's soul.
