What an "uneventful" day... Shucks.. work was atrocious. The moment i stepped into the second level department... i heard my name called from every corner of the office, to help this and help that. The most interesting one was to translate french into english. WHat the ... translate french to english? Ma Ma Mia!
Oh well, gave the guy a website to do the translation manually. Hopefully the translation was accurate.. we're talking about business here. If he was to get a translation of "Your Mama is an astronaut", then .. i don't think i'd get my bonus anymore.
Why is it that whenever its like 230 p.m to around 3 plus in the afternoon, i get a spell of lethargy coated all over me? It's so damn hard just to keep my eyes open. Even sleeping while i'm sitting down.. eyes closed, body straight. head up.. facing computer. Incredible.. I couldn't do it after i left the army, until now. The skill has returned.
Decided to go watch Exorcism of Emily Rose.. Ended up it was my exorcism instead, cause by the time me and my colleagues reached plaza singapura, there were seats.. single seats separated and far away. What the hell!?!? Shucks.. even if your 1 hour early, you won't get seats. Argh..
So in the end we just had dinner at Thai Express. Which wasn't so bad considering the meal was pathetically little. The egg was great though. In the end, we went our separate ways. Didn't have bowling cause the time was right and Hamusa had to go sit for his exam tomorrow.
WHile we were driving down the carpark, we happened to be behind a car with a couple in it. They were quarrelling and shouting. Suddenly, the guy just slapped the girl. What a Piece of SHIT! How could he lay his hands on her like that? Both me and Hamusa were real shocked.
WHat has happened to the people of singapore today. Where is the chivalry, the gentleman, the respect? WHy has society gotten so low? Do the people of the past recognize respect more then us? It seems that way.
I couldn't believe that the guy raised his hands at her. I mean, slapping a child is one thing.. slapping a woman, is definitely another. There is no teaching of values, or corrective punishment here. Its pure and simple, brutality.
Well, pity the girl... firstly for getting slapped, secondly for wantin to stay on in his car.. and another for probably sticking to the guy. WHat the hell is she thinking? Just cause he got a BMW.. does he think he can do anything to anyone?
Is she afraid that if she leaves him, she'd lose a gold mine? THen what is she doing still staying with him? I don't know what the aftermath is, but judgin by her submissiveness towards him.. i guess, she wouldn't do anything. COme on! There are better guys out there! Who will treat a lady right, even though they might not have a car or is born with a silver/gold spoon in his mouth...
