Yay... its over, yes, finally, Semester 2 of the year has come and gone. One more year to go. Sigh. This is so damn tiring. Working and studying at the same time, how i wish, i could just, throw all the books, and notes into the fire and watch it burn all the way.
Wait, i have to make my brain a harddisk, and throw everything into it, plus make backups of my harddrive so that i wont lose anything, maybe turn it into RAID. Wow.. wouldn't it be nice? But then, i'd be susceptible to virus attacks, trojan horses, worms... etc. Shit.. sounds like something from my network security module which was just over. LOusy paper.... didn't answer my questions cause i didn't know the answers. ARghhhhhh.
Car Show in already on. Should go down to take a look at the different cars available and their designs. Hey, i'm not used to being plain, need some uniqueness in my goods. So many things to do with my car, and so little money to do it. Sigh. Wished i had won some lottery or something. Wonder what's gonna happen to me, spending some much on a piece of metal. Wondering too, should i continue on this DBA path or get out and do something more to my liking.
Went down to the AS dept earlier. So many ppl's been asking about where i've gone. Told them i'm stuck behind a desk doing the DBA job. Was just supposed to get some curry puffs cause Karen won something at the bowling competition. Ended up doing helpdesk as well for some of the users. I don't know, but interacting with people does seem somewhat enjoyable to me. However, not being able to solve their problems is a real headache.
Haven't collected the money from Ivy yet. DId her home PC, and i thought i could collect, but she wasn't in today. Maybe she's on the run..... Anyway, watched a show with ENg Guan just now. Death Note. About this boy who found a notebook and if whomsoever writes a name and pictures his face in his mind, that person would be die of a heart attack. Unless he writes about how this person dies.
Its quite a cool cat and mouse game. Light, as his name is called, is a high IQ, son of a police chief, and his nemesis, a scrawny, greedy, thin and panda eyed youth called "L". Light to me i feel, was rather ruthless, sacrificing his own girlfriend so that he would be free of suspicion that he was the so-called "Kira", the one responsible for the deaths of many criminals. A budding Law Student, he feels that many of the criminals get away with their crimes because of lack of evidence. This brings him to feel hopeless about the way the Law is handled.
Good intentions, but bad methodology. Killing FBI agents goes to show how evil he is, regardless of his so-called "noble" intentions. Even the "god of death" could not believe how ruthless Light was. The ending was truly unexpected, but be assured that the cat and mouse game has yet to end. In the next sequel, we should be able to see another youg girl possessing the power of another Death Note.
Nice show, but the kid's kinda scrawny. pretty japanese chicks too though. Especially the one who hosts a cooking show. WHen they say, if you want a man to love you, go to his stomach, they were not lying.
